The present invention relates to capsules (2) for fiber-reinforce concrete wherein the fibers (1) are arranged individually in the form of fuzz balls within a solid wrapper of water-soluble glue (4). A method of preparing capsules (2) with a reinforcing fiber is characterized in that the individual fibers (1) are first prepared as fuzz balls, whereupon each individually coiled fiber is enclosed in a wrapper of water-soluble glue and the capsules are let to dry. A process for preparing fiber-reinforced concrete is characterized in that the above-indicated capsules (2) are proportioned in a dry concrete mixture or in aggregates and after dry mixing thereof mixing water is added thereto.
