Now these days multiband antenna is most popular in wireless communication .The main problem with patch antenna is its size. In the mobile communication we need small antenna due to limited space. This invention relates to multiband antenna for use in portable telecommunication device such as mobile phones .Here illustrates a multiband microstrip patch antenna .which dimension is 45*20*3mm. It consists of ground (12), dielectric substrate (11) and patch (10) .The substrate is located between the ground and patch. Microstrip patch is formed on the substrate. Microstrip Patch having the slot structure T shaped (15). The feed is coaxial (13, 14). Due to small dimension it use in portable telecommunication device such as mobile phones. This antenna works on GSM850/GSM900/GSM1800/GSM1900/UMTS bands.
