ADDITION TO DENTAL PARALLELOMETER FOR CUTTING PLASTER MODELS AND PROCESSING ELEMENTS OF FIXED OR PARTIAL DENTURE WITH TOOL IN HORIZONTAL POSITION

Invention herewith described refers to the addition to the dental parallelometer for cutting the plaster models and the processing elements of the fixed or the partial denture with the tool in the horizontal position. Its design allows the change of the tool position required for the analysis, measurement and processing of materials for making the dentures, from vertical to horizontal position.Besides, the invention allows the rotation of the horizontally mounted tool for 360 ° in regard to the vertical axis.The invention is made of aluminium alloy. One end of this invention is in the form of a cylinder (2), and the other with a radius (9) and a cylindrical hole (6) whose dimensions are variable because the cylindrical hole (6) is in one part (8) cut through and is used for fixation of the tool using the screw (VI), which is screwed into the threaded hole (7), while the central part (1) is quadratic. The cylindrical part (2) is used for fixation of the invention into the horizontal part of the dental parallelometer at an arbitrary i.e. desired position with respect to the coordinates x and y. Rotation of the invention in relation to the vertical axis is possible for 360°. The cylindrical part (2) has a cylindrically shaped recess (3), (4) for the reduction of the invention weight. The recess (3) ends approximately at the half of the invention.
