Amethod for the endoscopic treatment of the early stages of gastric cancer provides for insertion of the endosope under the anesthesia. Derinate solution (sodium deoxyribonucleinate) is administered via the canal of the endoscope to the submucous layer of the lesion. The depth and the extent of tumor invasion are then measured.
