The invention also relates to a support vessel (3) for launching and recovery of rescue crafts (4) and life boats (1, 1'), comprising a stern ramp (5) for launching and entering of rescue crafts (4) and life boats (1, 1') and a winch (8) for hauling the rescue crafts (4) and life boats (1, 1') onto the ramp (5).
