A method for inducing the differentiation of artificial pluripotent stem cells that have been induced from mammalian somatic cells or undifferentiated stem cells into epithelial progenitor cells, stem cells or corneal epithelial cells by culturing the artificial pluripotent stem cells under specified conditions; epithelial progenitor cells, stem cells or corneal epithelial cells produced by the method; and a cell preparation for treating epithelial diseases or a cell sheet, which is prepared using the cells.
