Disclosed is a rack for structure installation which includes purlins (15), each purlin being formed by connecting a plurality of purlin members (151, 152) which each has a pair of side plates extending in the same direction and has a shape in which one edge of one of the pair of side plates that extends in said direction has been connected by a main plate to one edge of the other side plate that extends in said direction. The connected purlin members (151, 152) have a shape in which at least one end of either the main plate or the side plates has been partly cut off. An end of the side plates of one of the purlin members (151, 152) is connected to an end of the side plates of the other purlin member so that the former end overlaps the inner or outer surface of the latter end.
