METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING OF WETLANDS RESOURCE AND ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT

A method and system for monitoring of wetlands resource and ecological environment are provided, and said system is composed of four parts: management system of wetlands space data, investigation system of wetlands field, management system of wetlands events, protection website of wetlands. Data is transferred by using communication ways of internet, 3G network, wireless communication network. A common database worked as information hub connects said four parts. Core part of the system for monitoring of wetlands resource and ecological environment is management system of wetlands space data, which is developed by using B/S+C/S mixed mode. The investigation system of wetlands field developed by portable computer and GPS module is used for investigation in wetlands field as well as acquisition and updating of data; Management system of wetlands events enables dynamic monitoring of wetlands ecological events by using mobile GIS technology, SMS Gateway, SMS central platform hardware and technology; Protection website of wetlands developed by using WebGIS technology is a window of communication, which can release wetlands space information and propagate wetlands culture to public.
