COPPER FOIL FOR NEGATIVE ELECTRODE CURRENT COLLECTOR FOR USE IN NON-AQUEOUS SOLVENT SECONDARY BATTERY, PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE COPPER FOIL, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF NON-AQUEOUS SOLVENT SECONDARY BATTERY NEGATIVE ELECTRODE
The charge-discharge cycle life of a non-aqueous solvent secondary battery and the battery capacity of the non-aqueous solvent secondary battery in the initial stage of battery charge are varied depending on the condition of the surface of a copper foil of a negative electrode in the non-aqueous solvent secondary battery. Thus, disclosed are: a copper foil for use in a negative electrode current collector for a non-aqueous solvent secondary battery, which enables the retention of an excellent charge-discharge cycle life and a high battery capacity; and a process for producing the copper foil.In the copper foil or use in a negative electrode current collector for a non-aqueous solvent secondary battery, an organic compound coating film is formed on the surface of the copper foil, wherein the inverse (1/C) of the electric double layer capacity on at least one surface of the organic compound coating film is 0.31 to 0.9 cm2/μF and the organic compound coating film comprises a triazole compound or both a triazole compound and an amine compound.
