This utility model relates to energy-saving lighting systems and to a motion sensor used in the circuit. The solution is intended for developing automated energy-saving lighting systems in warehouses, parking lots, stairwells and other buildings where permanent lighting is required but the presence of people is temporally limited. The technical result of the utility model for which protection is sought is that of providing economy in the consumption of electrical energy, reducing the number of lamp on/off cycles, maintaining the service life independently of the number of lamp on/off cycles, reducing the labour costs for servicing the system as well as minimizing the time required for switching the lamp over from the minimal mode to the working mode, and vice versa. The claimed technical result is achieved by virtue of the use of an energy-saving system which comprises, in accordance with a first variant for which protection is sought, a motion sensor and a controllable electronic ballast, to which a fluorescent lamp is coupled, wherein the motion sensor is capable of interacting with the controllable electronic ballast over a control channel and comprises a sensory element of the motion sensor and a sensory element of a natural light sensor, the outputs of said sensory elements being coupled to a main timer, and a motion sensor output signal transducer, wherein the motion sensor is coupled to an analog input (1-10V) of the controllable electronic ballast by means of the motion sensor output signal transducer, which, by means of the contacts thereof, bypasses the port (1-10V) of the controllable electronic ballast. 4 independent claims, 4 dependent claims, 4 figures.
