The present invention describes a liquid, aqueous formulation comprising: 1 to 60 wt.-% of a component (a) that consists of glucosamine and/or a physiologically acceptable derivative of glucosamine and/or chondroitin and/or a physiologically acceptable derivative of chondroitin, 0.1 to 30 wt.-% of a component (b) that consists of a phospholipid and/or a physiologically acceptable derivative of a phospholipid and 5 to 90 wt.-% of a component (c) consisting of a micelle stabilizer selected from the group consisting of (c1 ) carnitine and/or a physiologically compatible carnitine derivative, and (c2) one or more polyol(s) selected from the group consisting of: aldoses, ketoses, reduced aldoses and/or ketoses, physiologically acceptable glycosides of aldoses and/or ketoses, C3-C6- triols, C3-C6- tetraols, C3-C6- pentanols and C3-C6 hexanols, wherein each of the weight amounts relates to the total formulation.
