The method involves operating a heat engine of a vehicle under effects of a vacuum or a hydraulic pump or under effects of permanent magnets, where the permanent magnets are positioned on bores (55) at a level of liners and arranged on a piston. The piston is connected to a connecting rod assembly. The permanent magnets are centrally drilled with holes and placed at inside a hydraulic actuator that is placed on the piston, where acceleration or deceleration of a position of the hydraulic actuator is controlled by a camshaft. An independent claim is also included for a device for operating a heat engine in a vehicle.
