PURPOSE: A method for managing important message and a mobile terminal for performing thereof are provided to reaffirm an important message by displaying the existence of the important message stored in a received message box.;CONSTITUTION: It is requested about a message displayed on a screen of a mobile terminal from a user that the message exists in the receiving message inbox is an important message(S100).
