PURPOSE: A protection structure for a deep ocean water intake pipe is provided to prevent damage to an intake pipe by reducing friction between the structure and the intake pipe.;CONSTITUTION: A protection structure for a deep ocean water intake pipe is composed as follows. A structure is formed in a convex shape by filling concrete between multiple reinforcing bars. An insertion groove(2) with an opened bottom is formed in the bottom center of the structure. An intake pipe(1) is inserted into the insertion groove. The top edge of the structure is rounded to be not hung on a net.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
