MARKER FOR MEASURING DRUG EFFICIENCY AND LIVER TOXICITY OF STATIN

PURPOSE: A marker for measuring drug efficiency and liver toxicity of statin and a measuring method are provided to conveniently measure from urine sample which is easy to collect.;CONSTITUTION: A marker for measuring drug effieciency of statin contains isoleucine, glutamine, gluamic acid or alginine. The marker is amino acid in urine. In case that the concentration of isoleucine, glutamine, glutamic acid, or alginine is under 70%, the statin is determined to have drug efficiency. In case that the concentration of gluamic acid is under 40% among a group with hyperlipidemia, the statin is determined to have drug efficiency.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
