Noise Elimination Method for Dectecting Partial Discharge of Generator Stator Winding Using Packet Wavelet Transform

PURPOSE: A noise elimination method is provided to improve precision and efficiency of a measurement result by removing a first noise and a second noise. CONSTITUTION: Collected data is divided to a predetermined packet wavelet level(S206). A first noise elimination threshold is calculated through the number of samples of signals or coefficients(S208). The calculated critical value is applied to each partial discharge signal level(S212). The signal from which the noise is removed is partitioned to the frame of a fixed number(S216). A second noise elimination critical value is calculated through the calculation of the standard deviation maximum value of a frame(S218). The calculated critical value is applied to each frame.
