A FLEXIBLE WATERBORNE ACRYLIC COATING SYSTEM FOR WATERPROOFING AND CARBONATION PROTECTION OF REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES

PURPOSE: A water-soluble acrylic coating agent is provided to prevent the penetration of salinity, water, oxygen and carbon dioxide causing reinforcing rod corrosion and to improve adhesive force. CONSTITUTION: A water-soluble acrylic coating agent with flexibility comprises a primer applied to a concrete structure in which a steel reinforcement is laid and a water-soluble top coating agent with flexibility which are applied on the upper side of the primer. The water-soluble top coating agent comprises water 8.1 ~ 10.5 weight%, corrosion inhibitor 0.2 ~ 0.6 weight%, crosslinking agent 0.2 ~ 0.4 weight%, thickener 0.3 ~ 1 weight%, antifoaming agent 1 ~ 1.6 weight%, wetting agent 0.1 ~ 0.3 weight%, titanium dioxide pigment 7.5 ~ 8.1 weight%, filler 44 ~ 46 weight% and latex 33.8 ~ 35 weight%.
