Method for producting intra prediction block in H.264/AVC encoder

PURPOSE: A method for producing an intra prediction block in an H.264/AVC encoder is provided to generate a prediction block with small amount of calculation by calculating only a reference pixel used for generating a prediction. CONSTITUTION: Quantized NN DCT erroneous coefficient block is inverse-quantized(S1). In order to generate only error pixel used for generating a prediction block from the de-quantized NN DCT erroneous coefficient block, the NN DCT erroneous coefficient block is inverse-DCT transformed. A reference pixel is generated by summing the prediction pixel corresponding to an erroneous pixel with the erroneous pixel generated through the inverse-DCT(S5).
