PURPOSE: A start control method of a continuous casting process is provided so that after determining whether a continuous casting condition is satisfied by comparing a segment roll pressure with a predetermined pressure, a continuous casting operation can be performed by interlocking the continuous casting condition if the initial condition of the continuous casting operation is satisfied.;CONSTITUTION: A start control method of a continuous casting process comprises next steps. If a continuous casting command is input, it is determined whether a segment roll pressure satisfies a continuous casting condition(S1,S2). If yes, the continuous casting condition is interlocked(S3). The continuous casting operation is started in the interlocked state of the continuous casting condition. If the leading end of a slab is located on a segment, the interlocking of the continuous casting condition is cancelled(S6). It is determined by comparing a segment roll pressure with a predetermined pressure whether the continuous casting condition is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
