PURPOSE: A method for selecting a registration setup node in a sensor network, a method for assigning an address of a sensor network and supporting service search using the registration setup node, and a method for merging a sensor network are provided to quickly form a network under an ad-hoc network including a sensor network.;CONSTITUTION: A sensor node(Nb) receives an address request message from a new sensor node(Nj). The sensor node assigns an address to the new sensor node in response to the address request message. The sensor node transfers an address assignment message to the new sensor node. The sensor node sets the new sensor node as one child node among child nodes of the sensor node. The sensor node receives a service request message from the first child node among the child nodes.
