METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING AND DECODING KOREAN OR JAPANESE STRINGS IN HTTP PACKETS, AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING WEB CONTENTS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for decoding Korean or Japanese strings in HTTP packets, and a method for analyzing web contents using the same are provided to compare Korean and Japanese strings with a complete Korean code value when the Korean and Japanese strings encoded in the HTTP packets are detected and decoded, thereby outputting Korean or Japanese characters corresponding to the complete Korean code value. CONSTITUTION: When a packet is an HTTP(Hypertext Transfer Protocol) response packet and a packet capable of decoding Korean and Japanese, a flow table for the packet is generated. A payload part of the packet is saved. When the packet is the last packet of a flow, the flow table is initialized. When the packet is not the last packet of the flow, the flow table is updated. In case of a compressed packet, compression of a payload of a flow is decompressed and Korean or Japanese is decoded from a string of an HTTP payload of the flow.
