PURPOSE: A hatch coaming for a bulk carrier is provided to reduce a quantity of steel consumption of a deck plate since the structure of a hatch coaming on a bulk carrier is improved.;CONSTITUTION: A hatch coaming for a bulk carrier(100) consists of a longitudinal beam(300) and a lateral beam(310). The longitudinal beam is formed by the connection of the longitudinal hatch coamings of cargo windows(200). The coaming beam is projected from the deck. The lateral beam is connected perpendicularly to both ends of the longitudinal beam and is projected by the height of the longitudinal beam. A lateral rod is installed to be connected perpendicularly to the longitudinal beam on the later edge of each cargo window to divide the window cargos.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
