PURPOSE: A host terminal and a storage device for RO management, an RO management method thereof and a recording medium recording the same for managing RO are provided to increase the security and mobility of the RO management by separating a part of the management function from a DRM(Digital Rights Management) agent. CONSTITUTION: An ROAP(Rights Object Acquisition Protocol) agent(100) obtains RO from a server. The server issues the RO clearly indicating a right of the digital contents protected by a DRM. The RO is installed to a storage device connected to a host terminal from the ROAP agent. A DRM agent of a host terminal(200) transfers the RO to the storage device. The DRM agent for the host confirms RO information through coupling with the storage device.
