PURPOSE: An edge adjacent interpolation and noise filtering method and a recording medium for removing noise are provided to interpolate an image by the accurate analysis of an edge direction within a window.;CONSTITUTION: A G interpolation module(210) performs a first interpolation about a first color based on the directions of a preset number for an inputted image window. An edge direction estimation module(220) estimates an edge direction within the window. A G interpolation modifying module(230) performs a second interpolation for the interpolated G channel window.
