PURPOSE: A branch-pipe socket attaching device is provided to ensure water-tightness since a water-tight packing presses the inside and the edge circumferential surface of a branch hole and the inner circumferential surface of a pipe by the fastening of a coupling nut.;CONSTITUTION: A branch-pipe socket attaching device comprises a curved blade piece(210), a pipe-shape packing(70), and a splitting washer(80). The curved blade piece is formed on the lower end of a branch pipe(200) to have a size suitable for being inserted into a branch hole. The splitting washer is formed by the cutting of at least two spots of a doughnut-shaped washer. The inner circumferential surfaces of the lower and upper parts of the splitting washer are enclosed by the packing. The splitting washer is formed to be larger than the branch hole. Since the bottom of the water-tight packing is expanded outward and pressed by the splitting washer according to the fastening of a coupling nut, the branch pipe is not separated from the branch hole.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
