PURPOSE: A microorganism-derived novel compound and a use of the compound as an anticancer agent are provided to enhance p53 and p21 protein expression and to suppress cyclin D1 expression.;CONSTITUTION: A microorganism-derived novel compound is denoted by formula, 10HEA-F3. The compound is derived from microorganism. The composition enhances expression level of p53 and p21 in cancer cells. The microorganism is Burkholderia sp.(deposit number KACC 91391P). A pharmaceutical composition for anticancer contains a compound of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of culturing Burkholderia sp.; a step of treating an organic solvent to the culture medium for extraction; and a step of performing chromatography to obtain an active fraction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
