PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for managing a content service in a network based on content use history are provided to prevent the repeated purchasing or repeated storage of content by collectively managing content use behavior based on content use history.;CONSTITUTION: A content use request receiver(110) receives a request for the use of content from a specific device among the devices of a network. A related-information manager(120) collects and manages at least one of the following: content attribute information, device attribute information, user attribute information, and content use history information.
