PURPOSE: A backlight unit, manufacturing method thereof, and liquid crystal display using the same are provided to reduce the optical loss due to the separation of an optical axis between a light source unit and a light guide plate. ;CONSTITUTION: A light guiding plate(320) guides light which is income from a first light source unit(330). A first reflection plate(310) is arranged in the lower side of a light guide plate. An optical sheet(340) is arranged in the upper side of the light guide plate. The light guiding plate is formed in a first light source unit in order to increase the luminance of the light.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
