PURPOSE: A ballast balance measuring system of a heavy transport vessel is provided to reduce the range of error in ballast balance calculation by moving a ballast balance measuring structure along an exact route by a rack and a pinion system. ;CONSTITUTION: A ballast balance measuring system of a heavy transport vessel contains: a rack portion(110) installed to a deck of a heavy transport vessel(100) to provide a moving path; and a floating casing(120) provided with a pinion portion(122) at the bottom to be engaged and moved along the rack portion to measure the ballast balance of a heavy transport vessel and a sensor(112) sensing the position of the floating casing.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
