PURPOSE: A multi-channel and multi-interface mesh router for assigning channel and a method thereof are provided to assign channel by calculating predicted traffic load. ;CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel and multi-interface mesh router(6) includes a storage unit(220) and a control unit(230). The storage unit stores the competition degree of each channel and a table including the number of adjacent node which uses the channel. The control unit determines the allocation channel about a static interface among the multi interface by considering the number of adjacent nodes or the stored competition degree.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
