ENZYMATIC PRODUCTION OF 3,6-ANHYDRO-L-GALACTOSE AND GALACTOSE FROM AGAR USING CRUDE ENZYMES OF SACCHAROPHAGUS DEGRADANS 2-40 AND THE QUANTITATIVE ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR 3,6-ANHYDRO-L-GALACTOSE
PURPOSE: A method for preparing 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose and galatose using Saccharophagus degradans 2-40 coenzyme is provided to determine detail culture condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose and galactose comprises: a step of culturing Saccharophagus degradans 2-40; a step of isolating a coenzyme from Saccharophagus degradans 2-40; a step of lyzing substrate using the coenzyme into galactose and 3,6-anhydro-galactose; a step of derivatizing the galactose and 3,6-anhydro galactose into N-methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide; and a step of performing gas chromatography/mass spectrometric analysis of the galactose and 3,6-anhydro galactose.
