PURPOSE: An auxiliary device for welding a steel post and bonding structure for a steel post are provided to enhance fastening force of a steel pipe by blocking welding bead, which rolls down in the steel pipe. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal part(20) is arranged between lower and upper steel pipes, separates and supports the upper steel pipe from the lower steel pipe. A vertical part(40) is extended perpendicularly from one side of the horizontal part and makes contact with the inner circumferential surface of the upper end of the lower steel pipe and the inner circumferential surface of the lower end of the upper steel pipe. Notches(40a), which are far away from each other, are formed on the other side of the horizontal part on the vertical part in a longitudinal direction. The horizontal part is divided where the notch of the vertical part is formed and bent.
