PURPOSE: An excitation chopper device design method of KTX high-speed train control system is provided to raise a cut off frequency a filter until stable frequency band by controlling excitation of a synchronous electric motor by using an IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor). ;CONSTITUTION: An excitation chopper system is a separated chopper operation and a degaussing operation by an operation method. The chopped operation is processed by a master switch IGBT1. A current which is refluxed by an excitation circuit passes an IGBT2 and a diode FD. The IGBT1 and the IGBT2 stop in the degaussing operation. Discharge resistance RC is used for discharging an accumulated energy.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
