PURPOSE: An information provider address conflict resolution method in a remote access service and an apparatus thereof are provided to minimize address conversion using ALG(Application Level Gateway) when IP change is impossible through a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).;CONSTITUTION: A remote access server(3200) comprises a UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) IP management service(3213) and a DHCP control module(3260). A remote connection client(3100) comprises an IP management service CP(3114) using the UPnP IP management service of the remote access server. The IP management service CP collects IP subnet address information that is used and transfers to the IP management service of the remote access server. The IP management service decides the IP address conflict whether or not.
