PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a copper-zinc-tin-sulfur(CZTS)-based nanoparticle precursor, the precursor, a method for CZTS -based nanoparticles based on the precursor, and the nanoparticles are provided to eco-friendly synthesize the precursor by forming the precursor based on the irradiation of microwave.;CONSTITUTION: A reaction solution containing copper, zinc, tin, sulfur is prepared. The reaction solution includes copper aqueous salt, zinc aqueous salt, tin aqueous salt, and sulfur aqueous salt. The pH of the reaction solution is adjusted. Microwave is irradiated to the reaction solution with the adjusted pH value to form a CZTS-based nanoparticle precursor. The precursor is separated.
