PURPOSE: A filter performance test device using a metering pump and a filter performance test method using the device are provided to accurately test the performances of a water purifier, a water ionizer, and a water softener having different conditions.;CONSTITUTION: A filter performance test device using a metering pump comprises a sample liquid supply unit(10) which supplies sample liquid including foreign materials for a filter performance test, a metering pump unit(20) which supplies a fixed amount of the sample liquid to a nozzle unit(72), a sample filter unit(30) which filters the foreign materials from the sample liquid supplied by the nozzle unit, a pressure sensing unit(40) which measures the water pressure of the nozzle unit, an analysis unit(70) which analyzes the performance of the sample filter unit according to the measured water pressure, an indicating unit(50) which indicates the sensed water pressure on a dashboard, and a display unit(60) which displays the sensed water pressure and the current flow rate of the metering pump.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
