PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a gold core-insulator shell nano-structure using noble peptide is provided to effectively implemente manufacturing processes using silica-synthesis peptide which is highly affinity to the surface of gold.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a gold core-insulator shell nano-structure includes the following: Silica-synthesis peptide is combined with the surface of a gold nano-structure. A cysteine residue is arranged at the end part of the silica-synthesis peptide. The peptide combined with the surface of the gold nano-structure is reacted with a silica precursor which is represented by chemical formula, R1_nSi(OR_2)_4-n to form a gold core-insulator shell nano-structure. In the chemical formula, the R1 is respectively hydrogen atom, C1 to C6 linear or branched alkyl group, vinyl group, or phenyl group. The R2 is respectively C1 to C6 linear or branched alkyl group.
