PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing foam metal and a method thereof are provided to prevent the residual steel iron of the molten metal in a central point unit by moving the molten metal through a foam unit in which the foam process is advanced.;CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for manufacturing foam metal comprises a thickening unit(110), a foam unit(130) and a sucking unit(140). The central point unit makes thicken the molten metal of melting. The foaming unit is connected to the thickening unit and conveying unit. The foam unit mixes the molten metal thickened with the thickening unit and the bubble offered through a bubble feed port and foams to the foam metal. The sucking unit inhales the foam metal foamed with the foaming unit and transfers the foam metal to the mold of a predetermined shape. The bubble feed port comprises a first grain size control portion controlling the grain size of the bubble by firstly controlling the grain size of bubble.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
