PURPOSE: A method for synthesizing nanopowder in a zinc oxide core-zinc sulfide shell structure and the nanopowder in the zinc oxide core-zinc sulfide shell structure manufactured by the same are provided to adjust the thickness and the structural characteristic of the zinc sulfide shell by varying the molar concentration of a thioacetamide solution.;CONSTITUTION: A method for synthesizing nanopowder in a zinc oxide core-zinc sulfide shell structure includes the following: A thioacetamide solution is prepared by dissolving thioacetamide in a solvent. Zinc oxide powder is added into the thioacetamide solution to be uniformly dispersed. The zinc oxide powder dispersed thioacetamide solution is introduced into an oven. The temperature of the oven is maintained in a temperature range between 60 and 95 degrees Celsius. A zinc sulfide shell is formed on the surface of the zinc oxide powder, and precipitates are selectively separated. The precipitates are dried to obtain nanopowder in the zinc oxide core-zinc sulfide shell structure.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
