PURPOSE: A method for compensating a radar video display based on a true north reference in the surveillance radar system is provided to display all radar videos regardless of the real time change of heading.;CONSTITUTION: Whether the veering of a fleet is in a clockwise direction or in a counterclockwise direction is confirmed based on the heading information of a gyro. The interval of an azimuth change pulse is calculated to compensate for the variation amount of heading.
