POWER METER HAVING ERROR CALIBRATION FUNCTION AND METHOD FOR CALIBRATING PHASE ERROR

PURPOSE: A power meter having an error calibration function and a phase error calibrating method thereof are provided to improve power measuring accuracy by automatically calculating an offset index and by compensating time for a broad phase error related to voltage and current. CONSTITUTION: A pre-processor(32) processes a voltage signal and a current signal. An A/D converter(34) converts the voltage signal and the current signal processed in the pre-processor into a digital signal and outputs the voltage and current values. A non-volatile memory(37) is inputted and stores the compensation data for compensating the phase error of the voltage signal and the current signal.
