PURPOSE: A phyto-remediation method of heavy metal contaminated soil is provided to remediate the soil by accumulating a heavy metal in the soil including arsenic, into a cucumber by cultivation the cucumber at the heavy metal contaminated soil. CONSTITUTION: A phyto-remediation method of heavy metal contaminated soil comprises a step of cultivating a plant of a cucumis genus at the heavy metal contaminated soil. The heavy metal is selected from the group consisting of arsenic, cadmium, copper and lead. The cucumis genus plant is cultivated at the heavy metal contaminated soil for 20~50 days. The cucumis genus plant accumulates 1.5~2.5mg of the heavy metal per unit dry weight.
