APPARATUS AND METHOD USING INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC TECHNICAL MANUAL BASED ON XML

PURPOSE: A XML data IETM device and method for establishing an electronic technique are provided to automatically convert a file for document edition abou tan IETM data according to the document standard, thereby reducing a developing time of the IETM and the costs. CONSTITUTION: A semantic web ontology inference engine(100) uses a semantic web ontology and automatically extracts a form structure of a technical manual. The semantic web ontology inference engine includes an XML(eXtensible Markup Language) inference engine, an inference engine controller, a XML regulation manager, and a knowledge acquisition manager. An IETM(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) transforming module(220) automatically extracts content information constructed in a form structure based on ontology classification condition and classifies the content information according to the IETM form. An IETM database(300) stores content information.
