FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, and is intended for treatment of arterial hypertension at the background of metabolic syndrome. Level of cortisol in blood and heart rate (HR) are measured. If cotrisolemia is higher than 800 nmol/l and higher, HR being more than 80 beats per minute at rest in day hours, moxonidine is administered.
