The device (1) has a dial (2) for displaying time information i.e. hour, using an index (8), and a disk (4) for displaying other time information e.g. minute. The disk is rotationally arranged with respect to the dial around an axle (3). Driving units rotationally drive the index and the disk at rotational speed determined with respect to the dial such that rotational speed of the disk with respect to the index permits the index to indicate the time information.
