The invention relates to a method for operating an integrated solar combined cycle power plant (10) comprising a water-steam circuit (20) to a steam turbine (21) and a heat recovery steam generator (26) of the hot exhaust gases of a gas turbine (11) flow through, wherein the water-steam circuit (20), additional heat is supplied by a solar panel (33). In such a process an optimal cost-benefit ratio is achieved in that the water-steam circuit (20) is designed for the full load of the gas turbine (11), and that when supply of additional power from the solar array (33) in the water-steam circuit (20) the load of the gas turbine (11) in accordance with the additional power fed from the solar panel (33) is respectively reduced so that the total output power of the integrated solar combined cycle power plant (10) is substantially constant remains.
