The pot-shaped container comprises a bottom (1), a peripheral wall (2) subsequent to the bottom, where the peripheral wall has a peripheral edge surface, and a three- or multi-layered material with an inner layer made of steel and two outer layers made of stainless steel. The edge surface is surrounded by a heat-conducting peripheral tape, which creates a heat-conductive connection between the layers of the multi-layered material. The edge surface is coated with a solder, which surrounds the edges formed in the outer layers. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a pot-shaped container.
