The method involves turning an upper surface (5) at a rotation axis (3), and determining centrifugal force (FZ), which moves a liquid drop (6) on the upper surface. Rotational speed of the upper surface is increased. Distance of the liquid drop is changed from the rotation axis. An observation mirror (7) is firmly arranged to the upper surface at the rotation axis. A bisecting line is built between the rotation axis and a straight line from the observation mirror to the liquid drop. Another observation mirror (9) is firmly arranged on the upper surface of the liquid drop. An independent claim is also included for a device for testing frictional force of liquid drop on a solid surface.
