The system has a hydraulic unit (4) directly arranged along force flow between a weight storm (1A) and a load-bearing element (5) in series. The hydraulic unit includes blocking function to allow change of training or therapy variable by weight blocks or hydraulic system. Displacement and force values are detected by sensors e.g. ultrasonic sensors, in the hydraulic system. Various measurements are electronically evaluated, converted and stored. Arrangement and linkage of the hydraulic system are made parallel to the weight storm.
