The method involves mounting a supply roller with a foil whose width is sufficiently larger than a width of a blank, where the foil is drawn from the supply roller. The foil is supplied to a transverse cutting device. A foil section (20) is transported by a vacuum conveyor. The blank drawn from a supply magazine is fitted on a flexible foil section, and simultaneously an adhesive is applied in a strip form. Ends of the flexible foil section are moved on a rear side of the blank and pressed against the adhesive strip. A produced fixing-package (10) is transported.
